At Kirkwood's Castles we offer a friendly and fun face painting
service at very competitive rates, our face painter has an enhanced disclosure
check.
We use face paints that conform to the EU and FDA toy and cosmetics regulations.
These paints contain anti-bacterial agents which are gentle to use on young skin.
The paints are water-based, and can easily be removed with mild soap and water or baby wipes.
We do suggest a little helpful tip, that when inviting friends to your party please mention that you have a face painter present on the day, as it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian of the child to advise us of the child’s suitability for face painting. We display a disclaimer on the day to this effect.
It is inadvisable to paint a child’s face if they have very sensitive skin conditions or are prone to allergies, a small design painted on their arm which can double as a skin test might be more appropriate. Children who suffer from any contagious skin conditions or have open cuts or grazes will not be painted in the interest of hygiene.
We will only paint children who are willing to participate with face painting and those over the age of 2 years, if a child is apprehensive we can always offer a design on the arm or a temporary tattoo.
We also have a fantastic range of glitter tattoo's for those children who do not want to have their face painted. This can be added on to your face painting for a extra £10. (Subject to availability).
We are also covered by Public Liability Insurance for up to £5 Million.
The cost of our face painter is £100 for 2 hours. (£110 with glitter tattoos)
Then £50 for
each additional hour.
(Min 2 hour hire & may have a small additional fuel cost if outside Glasgow / East Renfrewshire).
